“Excellence is a continuous process and not an accident.”

- Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam

I feel privileged to be the Chairman of such an excellent and vibrant school, which offers great openings for its students. It is our goal to make each and every student succeed.

The Spicer Higher Secondary School views education as the development of the whole child – attention or emphasis is placed not just on the intellectual development but also on the pupil’s physical, social and spiritual development. We offer our students the best possible opportunities to become confident, thoughtful young people who are prepared for any future responsibilities.

I firmly believe that every student is a unique person with his/her own set of skills, wants and aspirations. We at Spicer Higher Secondary School are committed to bring out that uniqueness with the support of administrators, teaching and non-teaching staff and parents. Here, I especially would like to acknowledge the support and encouragement that the school administration received from the Parent-Teacher Association office bearers and members.

Besides academic excellence, the school is committed to inculcate in all its students, strong ethical values of integrity, politeness, kindness and respect for elders. I firmly believe that education should foster confidence, discipline, clarity in thought and decision-making ability to set and achieve goals, and above all, social responsibility as a life-long process.

Each student is a unique individual with special gifts and talents – we hope that with motivation, encouragement and hard work that all our students will discover their individual talents. Our desire is that while your child is with us, he/she will develop into a mature, happy, responsible young adult who is prepared to face the future with confidence.

During this Covid-19 period, the challenge lies in utilizing the changing learning patterns with changes in the methods of instruction coupled with technological advancements, to create an educational experience that will influence the all-round development of students and uphold our commitment towards the community and nation-building.

I extend my warm wishes to the Principal, Staff, Students, Parents and Guardians.
